Iftar and Doa Mahfil organized by International Human Rights Journalist Organization (IHRGS) and United Consumer Protection Legal Rights Foundation (UPCLRF) in Faridpur.

Last (April 5) Friday, an iftar and doa mahfil was organized at the district branch office of the organization on the 3rd floor of the municipal court compound of Faridpur municipality.

Former Principal of Government Rajendra College Monir Musa Disari was present as the chief guest under the chairmanship of Advocate Kazi Abdul Jalil Chan, president of Faridpur district branch of International Human Rights Journalist Association.

Md. Rezoan Hossain, Chief Adviser of International Human Rights Journalist Association, was the special guest.

Besides, civil society representatives, advocates, human rights activists, volunteers and journalists were also present.

Before the iftar, the guests handed over the ID cards to the new members of the organization.

Earlier, iftar was distributed among fasting pedestrians and easy bike (autorickshaw) drivers at various important places of the city including Faridpur Railway Station, Courtpar.
